    Forgive us for the pun, but the last thing we want is for the bread market to go stale. Our dedicated product development team and our Head of Innovation spend their time continually thinking of new ways of giving British families great quality, great tasting food that fits in with their daily lives.

    The restless energy that drives these innovations happens every day at our offices, bakeries and depots around the country. In 2019 we opened our dedicated Research and Innovation Centre, where our clever product development teams have access to the best technology to help them practise baking the next big thing!

    Over the last 10 years, we have invested in new baking kit so we can create our latest innovations including Thins, Giant Crumpets, Thin Bagels and Bagels. Only by investing in innovation can we continue to lead the bakery market and bring exciting new products to the shelves.

    Research and Innovation Centre

    Our new R&I centre probably is the best thing since sliced bread! The centre is the perfect space to enable us to continue to launch innovative new products such as giant crumpets and sandwich thins.
